My Story

It may seem strange to hear a nutritional expert say this— but I didn’t always understand how much food impacts overall wellness. For years, I struggled with inflammatory conditions like eczema and IBS, doing my best to manage symptoms with sub-par solutions.

It was a discouraging process, to say the least.

My symptoms would lessen or disappear for short periods of time, but they always returned, disrupting my life and forcing me to cope with discomfort.

As the time approached for me to think about my post-secondary education, I wondered if I could break the cycle by changing my diet. 

“What if the answer to my problem isn’t taking another medication or applying another topical cream? What if it’s prioritizing and addressing wellness from the inside out?”

This simple question set me on my career path and led to the answers I needed. Through healthy eating and lifestyle adjustments, I was finally able to find true, lasting relief from the conditions I’ve lived with for so long.

The transformation was so incredible that I wanted to share it with others— and that’s the reason I’m here today, operating my own practice as an Edmonton Dietitian.

I incorporate TCM principles like yin and yang, the five elements, and the energetic properties of food into my nutritional guidance. But I also stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and guidelines to ensure my recommendations are grounded in scientific evidence and align with current standards of practice.
